Jenica Leigh Edge Barnard Memorial Scholarship
For Victoria ISD graduating seniors who intend to be Education majors
Sponsored by family and friends of Jenica Leigh Edge Barnard

Award amount: $1,500

Jenica Leigh Edge Barnard was born in 1994. She attended VISD schools and graduated from Victoria East High School in 2012. In May of 2016, Jenica graduated from Texas State University with honors and started her first job teaching second graders in Llano. Unfortunately, coming home from school, her precious life was cut short due to a car accident. Her 22 years of life graced the world with laughter, love, and a gentle spirit that blessed all she touched. She used her gifts to grow her students educationally and as lifelong learners.

The Jenica Leigh Edge Barnard Memorial Scholarship was established in 2016 to honor her vibrant life and continue the passion she possessed to educate students.
